Overview
Confiança is the client-facing app of an accounting office, built to replace scattered email and phone threads with a single channel between the firm and its clients. I delivered it end-to-end — the mobile app, its backend integration, and the infrastructure — and shipped it to both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
What it does
- Real-time messaging between the office and each client.
- Document access — clients receive and open fiscal/accounting documents directly in-app.
- Push notifications so clients are alerted the moment a message or document arrives.
Technical highlights
One codebase, both stores
The app is built in React Native, sharing a single codebase across iOS and Android — including the platform-specific work of release builds, signing, and store submission for each.
Real-time + push
Live messaging runs over a STOMP/WebSocket connection for instant delivery while the app is open, with Firebase Cloud Messaging handling push notifications when it isn't. Documents are fetched and rendered in-app with native document-picker and file-viewer integrations.
End-to-end delivery
As with my other products, I owned the full stack here — from the backend the app talks to and the infrastructure it runs on, through to the published listings on both stores and ongoing maintenance across React Native upgrades.
Outcome
Confiança is a real, in-use product for an accounting office and its client base — a published, maintained app on iOS and Android.
